11.     There are thousands of people who volunteer for the United States military yet they seem to get missed treated by those who believe that they are involved in wars that they should not be involved in. So why is it our military members are treated with such disgust when they volunteer to keep those who disrespect them at all cost no matter what?

22.      Today is a very interesting time, we have outstanding advances in technology that has and will make life a little easier but at what cost. We all would like life to be easier and that is a grate gain. However, what are we losing to make life easier? Will we lose the ability to walk talk or even function without technology?

3 3.    Has education decreased in the past 40 years? Why does it seem that some teachers just do not care anymore? It this all because the cost of a fine education has increased by at least 70% in the last 40 years or is it because there wages have only increased by about 40% yet the cost of living has gone up by about 65% and they are struggling to teach students and pay their own bills?

Is Google Making Us Stupid

It seemed more like the author was talking about how his style has changed. He also talks about some other people and how their styles have changed because of the clock and the type writer. Carr is basically saying that things for everyone are changing and is this change for the good or for the bad.

I am not sure that Google is making any one stupid however I could be wrong. To me it seems that times are changing and the way people learn to day is way different then the way people used to learn.  Now if you break it down to its basics people have the unique ability to learn many things weather they stick with what their education has given them or if they find that there is a faster way to learn and move on to new ground is the question. People will tend to go for the easy way over the hard way because it is easier and that means they can do more things in a day. For me I find that a combination of the internet and some old fashioned research is the key to anything good these days because the internet can get you the information you want but it also might give you a bunch of thing you do not want. So you skim through the information that you have been given then you step back and start the longer more grueling part after you found the information that you need. This longer part is going through this information and breaking it down to the best way to input it into your head and then proses it out into an essay or whatever it is that you need it for.

The Strength of the Military (Blog # 7)

The Strength of the Military Family by Major Kenric Smith.

The strength of our military stands directly on the back of our military families.

I found this essay to be enticing and I understand his point of view on how the families of are military members do a lot for each other, and for their loved ones serving our country. I once was a proud member of United States Air Force and served voluntarily to protect and serve our proud country. Without the support of my family and the families of my brothers in arms I don’t think that I could have done my job to protect this country. I loved my time in the military and would do it again if I could. So I understand how he would rather have his family and the other military families thanked because without the support of them he probably would not be able to do the job that he does.

Now I do appreciate being thanked for the job I did in the military but I do believe that the family’s that are at home dealing with the bills and the kids and the everyday hassle of life deserve thanks as well. I thank my family every day for their support and I also thank the families of the other services members that have served and are still serving in the military. So if you thank the families of our troops and are troops you will show them such respect and graduated that will brighten there days let them know people do care about them even if they do not care for the war that they are participating in.

What is the Matter with Kids Today? (blog# 6)

What’s the Matter with Kids Today? Was a very interesting article you think that it is about how kids have something wrong with them when it comes to reading and writing but that is not the case. It is more about how they read and write for about 17 hours a day. That they are very well versed and they are the feature of writing no matter how the old school writers want to think that they are not.

I find it very telling and that yeah the youth do express them self’s to the fullest extent that they would like to. I have been kind of there for three kids since they were just before their teenage years and into the teenage years and one of them has her own blog where she talks about everything she likes and finds interesting or important. I would even say she is a very well rounded writer and could have gone into a high school that will help her improve here skills but decided to go to where her friends were going. So I can see where the kids of today will be the writers of tomorrow. I also find it funny that some people think that the internet is a problem. It might be something different but just because something is different does not make it a bad thing. To tell you the truth the internet is probably the feature of writing and people are going to have to get over it. I enjoy seeing what the kids write because it at times is a very funny aspect on life as they know it. Also they can let you know what is going on in their life without actually talking to you about it which comes in handy when you there in a mood but dot want to talk about it at that time.

Something to laugh at

IPod World: The End Of Society (blog #5)

IPod World: The End of Society by Andrew Sullivan talks about how he was in New York and he noticed something strange. People were a bit quitter and not paying attention to everything around them. He also talks about how he was also one of the people who was not paying much attention. Then he talks about how he left his IPod at home and went into a panic at first but then seen an interesting life happening around him.

I see what Andrew talks about almost everywhere I go. I see people not paying any attention to things around them until something happens like running into someone else. They all seem a little lethargic to me and don’t have any cares that can pull them from their musical world that they designed. The reason I can see and understand what is going on with people around me is because I do not own an IPod. I do have a smart phone that I can put music on but I would rather know what might be happening around me because I find people to be more interesting then songs that I have probably already heard at some point before. Yes you can have thousands of songs but if you have heard them once or twice you are bound to get a bit bored with the songs so it leads to be a bit boring to me. I do not like to listen to song so much that I will know every word that is sung in it by hart because life is more interesting then memorizing songs that I can most defiantly not sing. Just by observing people and things that surround you can hear or see funny things that might inspire your life. You just might even notice something that no one else has ever seen before. However, you will never know if you are stuck in a world that keeps you in closed and blocked to your surroundings.  Life is much more interesting than just playing your favorite songs over and over.
